Call for abstract

Showcase your research at the ERS 2023 as a talk or a poster, and network in person with your peers from all over Switzerland!

We invite all PhD students and Postdocs working in neuroscience in a Swiss institution to submit an abstract to present their work in Lugano.

The abstract has to be less than 400 words and you can indicate during the submission if you would like to have a talk, a poster or if you do not have a preference. We will try to accomodate your preference, but consider that the number of slots for talks is limited. Submissions closed on 2nd May.

Registration

The registration is free for all members of the Swiss Society for Neuroscience that have a valid membership for 2023. The registration gives access to all presentations, food, and social activities. Complete the request for the SSN membership here if are not registered yet and discover all the benefits that derive being members of SSN!

Travel Grants

For the first year, thanks to the generous contribution of our sponsors, we are able to offer some travel grants to young members (PhD students and Postdocs) of the Swiss Society for Neuroscience to attend the annual symposium. These grants are foreseen to support students and postdocs working in laboratories that do not have the means or prefer not to support their participation to the ERS.

The grants can cover, according to the needs of the applicant and the available funds:

- a 100 CHF voucher for SBB to buy train tickets to Lugano

- accommodation in a hotel in Lugano for the night of Thursday 8th June.

- SNN Annual membership for 2023
